OUR INITIATIVES

CONTAINMENT INITIATIVE

COVID-19

The Covid-19 Pandemic has disproportionally affected communities who live below the poverty datum line. We are acutely aware of our role and responsibility in continuing to meet the needs of the millions of people who rely on us. At BCG we are working hard to ensure that we get as many people in the World, that would not normally have access to tests, tested and vaccinated. Our goal is to have:

10 Million Tests deployed globally by June 30, 2022

1 Million Vaccines deployed globally by June 30, 2022

Unlimited PPE deployed as and when needed

With your help, we can do it!

OUR VISION

Vision 2025 is built around five primary themes:

Eradication of Hunger and Malnutrition

Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene delivery

Effective Disaster Recovery Programs.

Effective Healthcare for the communities we serve.

Education and Equality in the communities we serve.

MAKE LAND WORK INITIATIVE

Make Land Work is an initiative built on a three pronged approach.

FOOD: At BCG we encourage the adaptation of smart technology for large scale agriculture, to help eradicate hunger. One of our current programs is in conjunction with a North American Farming Corporation that specializes in Aeroponics and farming techniques that use up to 95% less water than traditional farming methods.

GOODS: At BCG we encourage self sustainability for the communities we serve, thus we encourage them to use their own land to engage in farming. One of our current programs in South Africa is actually pretty cool. Local communities provide farm land, we partner them with a consortium of Canadian Investors – who in turn provide them with seeds and the technical know how to grow the plant in question. At Harvest the Canadians buy the crop from the community at a predetermined price or the community can sell the crop on the open market. Innovative approaches like this are creating jobs and uplifting previously depressed communities. Such a sustainable approach has been successfully  used with Cannabis. Needless to say vocational training and requisite business support will be made available to ensure project success.

GIVE US

VALUE INITIATIVE

The Give Us Value initiative is built on the need to keep lucrative Value Added activity in the communities where the extraction of raw materials happens. At BCG we encourage communities to engage in commercially sustainable activities.

Instead of our partner community exporting Hemp or Cannabis for example, we aim to equip them with the right technology so that any manufacturing/value addition of resources extracted from their land is done in that community. That will ensure the most lucrative parts of the value chain remain in the community while building EU/GMP/ISO type facilities in said communities.
